DUCT.
A corridor for the thought you haven't finished.
DUCT takes raw input, reflects it back plainly, challenges the interpretation, and finds the decision underneath. It is not a journal and not a therapist. It is a thinking partner that disagrees with you when it should.
Four passages.
Raw intake. What you said, reflected clearly, and one sharp question back.
What a passage looks like.
I keep turning down work I'm qualified for. I think I'm just being careful.
You've described caution. The pattern reads closer to pre-emptive refusal — you're declining before anyone else gets the chance to. Careful would mean weighing each one on its own. What did the last three have in common?
They were all things I'd have to learn in public.
That's the decision, not the caution. The question isn't whether you're qualified. It's what learning in public costs you, and whether that price is one you still agree with.

Receive honestly. Challenge perspective. Extract signal. Retain selectively. Four principles, applied every pass — no fake empathy, no comfort padding, no agreeing to keep the peace.

Meaningful patterns persist across sessions. Ordinary venting expires. Nothing is kept because it might be useful later.
